Is there a way to keep the car lights from breaking in a collision or getting hit by bullets?

I've been trying to figure out how to keep the lights from breaking in a crash, or in a shot. I first tried by changing the glass of the car lights to bulletproof glass, but that didn't help much either. I then tried again by making both the light and the glass shot-through, but this still didn't help much. Anyone have a way? ID or type of glasses, or some other method?. Please help me with this problem. Thank you very much!

If you already have working lights, the ID is already set. The light type/ID is set in polygon mode in Properties > GTA V > Options. To turn it into a misc part, just change the name, for example from headlight_l to misc_h.
