I change the sound of pistol, but when used by other ped, it goes back to default

Hello, i recently changed my pistol sound from weapon.awc and ptl_pistol.awc to a blaster sound from star wars, it worked great when i used it, but when other ped use it, it revert back to the original pistol sound, how can i fix this
