Around 2008 - 2015 I'd say. I've seen pictures of it used on 08-10 Chargers, 08-11 CVPIs, Caprices, and early FPIs and FPIUs.
So it seems like there were two released of the mw810, the first around 06-07, the second mid 2012.
That site says 2013 for the second release but i saw multiple other sources showing 2012, one being motorola's page for the mw810.

Whelen Legacy
If you want to use the colored inserts, make sure to remap the reflector to the corresponding color, the same goes for the smoked lens variant.
This lightbar is already scaled, but you will have to adjust the brackets to fit the vehicle, and move the lightbar's wire down into the car's roof.
If you want the smoked lens version, make sure to replace "lightbar_glass" with "lightbar_glass_smoked" in zmod and the ytd.

I haven't seen any pictures or videos of unmarked LASD cars with a Spectralux, so my best guess is LAPD. It's most likely a 9C3 though, so I'd guess it's used either for detectives or administrative uses. Either way, it's probably rare.
well ill be damned. i would say that they were test cars, but ive never seen unmarked test cars 
huh, ive never heard of lapd using the modern caprices for anything, let alone unmarked. is it the same style setup as their slicktop taurus'?
