MUCH needed thanks!
May I just ask if it's possible you can do a version without year expiration numbers? I ask for this 'cause I use retro packs and it would stand out

I can still see some around some gaps, so what was it?
It's not AO, it seems you mapped the body to the main body colour material but forgot to select the door sills, and those must be mapped to a white material so they don't change colour.
(Ambient Occlusion are shadows rendered near cavities and such, they only show when in diffused lighting, not direct sunlight)
May I also suggest a slightly darker rim texture and a stronger spec to go along?
Nice work so far
Only thing I can notice after a quick glance are the purple/green tyres, if you want to fix those it's simply a matter of changing the Texture format in OpenIV from whatever it is now (most likely DXT 5) to L8, then after that's done back to A8R8G8B8 and save.
Just a tip, wouldn't it be better to remove the shadow from one side of the rim? So it looks less like a picture?
For me, not including license plates in the template restricts people who want to use them.
I believe there is a vehicle.meta option to allow you to skip and use default plates, correct? If so, there is no reason not to add it as an option.
Wrong. including license plates has no advantage over not including them other than maybe if one wants some very weird positioning of letters.
Because:
- You can import custom plates in the car ytd with the name of the SA EXEMPT plate, which I can't recall right now, plate0something... This allows you to have your beloved custom plate for that vehicle (or all emergency vehicles if you just go and replace it in vehshare);
- You can have custom text(custom number of characters show up on the plate with a script, that I can find if anyone is interested;
- Standalone plates can have normal maps instead of being flat.
The part about vehicles.meta is made up and you can't magically make it change the texture it's mapped to with just a little bit of text.
FYI, there's no need to map the template. Just import the custom plates without numbers into the car.ytd and it'll load those instead of the vehshare ones (same names ofc).
You modeled the whole thing? looks good!
Did you check if they are fine ingame?
Well all I can suggest is fixing the front bumper (too low) like here:
Rest of the model looks pretty good.
Here:
For the rest idk Seems ok tho.
Nice pictures! Judging from the last one I think you forgot to assign the new chrome to the side trunk chromed part.
Crazy shidd right here! And the wheels
