Can you add a Carson SC 49?
You mean Carson SC-409 Commander? If i get around to getting to finishing my textures, sure.

I added just a few more to the list.

Been a while since I have updated this. I started finalizing some of the textures for the controllers, starting off with Federal Signal Smart Platinum and Touchmaster Delta. Here is a preview of the L1. Added some small bevels to make things look a bit more 3D'ish and seems to look pretty good! Planning on starting Whelen's this week.
Bonus: The one Soundoff. Haha

Working on last controller for now. Going to look over everything and release the controllers themselves, then work on mics to add in an update.

Update on the project! Nearing completion on Whelen stuff.

Great work with the textures, for someone new to that kind of stuff you are good at texturing.. That is for sure!
Thanks! This is what I enjoy doing most. I might contract the modeling out to someone else who loves modeling and hates texturing. Added Epsilon, Smart Platinum, and Touchmaster textures.

Currently wanting to get better at texturing and learn a bit of modeling along the way. I thought I might start with simple stuff and work my way up to more complicated models. What better to start off than with making a quality set of siren controllers! Once controllers are complete, I will hopefully work on texturing/modeling appropriate microphones to go with them.

Update on this project. I gave it to CJ to do a examination of the CVPI and have a boatload of things to work on. One of the first things was working on a proper burnt map.
Removed it from all the outer painted body panels for starters, having trouble removing it from the steel rims so I will try to figure that out, is this going in the right direction?
-
What jumps out at me immediately is on the CVPI, the pushbar seems a bit thin and the wheels large?
Thanks for the advice! I agree the pushbar does look thin. Looked up some pics and beefed it up, looks better from the inside too. Messed around with the wheels a little as well.
Update: Currently working on the pushbar mounts, they are completely wrong.

This is my first real project and looking to get some advice on how it looks and if you guys think anything needs to be worked on.
Crown Vic is nearing completion. I am wanting to do a some LOD's on the smaller things like dash cam and radar.
Tahoe has a little modeling word to do with adding antennas and adjusting some things, but it's mostly complete as well. I plan to wait to replace the model itself with one in the works that will feature LOD's.
I must add, I have had alot of fun with this pack, mainly because it has Kane's liberty on it. I have put quite a number of hours in making as close to the real thing as possible, rescaling the light modules, replacing with HQ textures, playing with the spacer materials and I think that's it(NOPE! first thing I did was add bolts), even making currently 10 variants of it. All our state police use it and our local used to fully use it as well. Some say I'm in love and OCD with light bar details.
I will take some interior pics soon!

Oh, I was thinking of the 1942 texture. I have quite a number of plates if you need help in doing that. Threw this together, I could probably find better text then finish the holes if you wanted to use it.
-
The front plates never have expiration stickers, so having no stickers would be as unrealistic as having them in the front and the back. Unfortunately that's something that can't be changed with a mod. The current textures will get an option without any stickers.
I will make the retro pack as well then, with the 1987 plates instead of the current ones. The stickers will be a mix between the two styles of older stickers (this and this) with different colors and no year. The exempt plate will just have the SA EXEMPT text with the old font, like the default one.
The 1956 plate would probably be easy, but the 1942 has a different format, I'm not sure what would be the best way to do that. I'll consider seperate textures when the two packs are released.Edit:
That's not a question for this thread, though
Let me see what I can come up with for the 1942 plate.
-
For me, not including license plates in the template restricts people who want to use them.
I believe there is a vehicle.meta option to allow you to skip and use default plates, correct? If so, there is no reason not to add it as an option.

Evening CJ, I have a little(ahem OCD) glitch in the front driver/passenger door handles that no one has found until my OCD eye saw it.(I blame my knowledge of Steinberg liking perfection and I went to find the smallest details he missed) It seems I found something no one else could find! If the new model has new handles, sure there isn't an issue. Can't wait to see the new one when it's complete.
