Looks great for being your first model, mine for sure didn't look like that. However, as CJ mentioned there is room for improvment. I presume you're using Blender and will be providing instructions on that basis.
- Smooth shading the radar unit, to do so, right click the object and select:
- Make a specular map. You can follow this guide to get help with that along with other maps.
- Make the textures use file format (.dds) instead of (.png) this makes it look the same for you as the creator and the user and you won't have to worry about the user importing it using the wrong import settings. Here is a guide with useful information about compressions.
